Robyn in the Hood series moves to the venerable community of Aylmer

Ottawa Morning host Robyn Bresnahan took in life across the river Friday morning in the venerable community of Aylmer.

With its lively main street and marina and mix of Francophones and Anglophones, Aylmer has become a popular destination for people in the National Capital Region looking to settle down.

Robyn looked at the people and places who help shape the community's changing identity. She took a tour, visited a vineyard and ran a commuter challenge to find the fastest way to get to Ottawa.

CBC Radio's Robyn in the Hood series started in Barrhaven. Next week Ottawa Morning will be broadcasting live from Ottawa's Vanier community.
