Annualized Advances: An Ottawa love story

All In A Day is challenging listeners to help craft a 613-centred romance novel by Friday.
The House of Commons is not the most likely venue for a love story. We'll see if our listeners/authors take us there in our experiment in collaborative story-telling. (Patrick Doyle/Canadian Press)

In the midst of the budget, as pundits were griping about the budget not being that exciting, All In A Day host Alan Neal challenged his listeners to be part of a writing experiment.

Could they add sizzle to the budgetary proceedings and help craft a 613-centred romance novel by Friday (Valentine's Day)?

So here we go! It's a crowd-writing experiment. Every hour, beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the story gets passed to another listener.

We'll do our best to keep getting the story up online here … And we'll see what kind of story we end up with by Friday.
