Three people were sent to hospital in serious condition after a two-vehicle crash in Gatineau caused by an alleged drunk driver.
Police say a BMW crashed into a Mitsubishi near 799 Maloney Blvd. East at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
The BMW was heading west when it lost control and ventured into the oncoming lane.
The other vehicle, carrying three people, was struck at a high speed, police said. One of the passengers was ejected from the back seat.
All three people in the Mitsubishi were taken to hospital but their injuries are not considered life threatening.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash and the driver of the BMW was arrested for suspected impaired driving.
Charges are pending.
