Alleged Carleton University sex assault 'not random'
Ottawa police confirm they are investigating a third alleged sexual assault at Carleton University this month.
But university communications told CBC News this latest incident was not random and the suspect was known to the alleged victim, which is unlike the two others.
The alleged incident was reported to police Sunday then to Carleton University, who have provided support services to the victim.
One man, 18, has already been charged related to an alleged sexual assault earlier this month and another assault.
This latest allegation comes as many Carleton University students are calling for funding for a student-run sexual assault support centre.
