All In A Day is kicking off the first round of their Election Lottery on Monday. And they want your help!

Here's how it works: each week before voters head to the polls on June 12, the All in a Day team will draw, at random, the name of a local candidate from one of the three major parties.

Then they'll dip into another hat to pick a "Big Issue" — anything from the deficit to child care to job creation.

Here's a list of the ridings competing in our Election Lottery:

  • Ottawa Centre
  • Ottawa-Vanier
  • Ottawa-Orleans
  • Ottawa West-Nepean
  • Ottawa South
  • Nepean-Carleton
  • Carleton-Mississippi Mills
  • Glengarry-Prescott-Russell

They'll put it all together by inviting the chosen candidate to come on the program for an interview on that topic later in the week.

Don't worry, they'll give his or her rivals from the other two major parties a chance to comment as well by the end of the week.

So where do you come in? We want you to help us decide what "Big Issues" belong on the air with the candidates.

What issue will decide your vote this election? And if the candidates aren't talking about it, tell us why you think they should! Write us here with your ideas.

Tune in to the show on Tuesday May 20 just after 3 p.m. for our first draw.
