Alcohol a factor in Sunday single-vehicle crash
Man, 38, taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, paramedics say
A 38-year-old man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash just south of North Gower early Sunday morning.
Alcohol was a factor in the crash, police said, and charges are pending.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m. in the area of 4th Line north of Dilworth roads, near the Rideau River, paramedics said.
The man suffered severe head injuries and other trauma. The vehicle was severely damaged.
Police continue to investigate.
