Two cyclists were sent to hospital after one crashed into the other at the side of the Rockcliffe Parkway.

Paramedics responded just east of the Aviation Parkway at about 1:55 p.m. for cyclist-on-cyclist crash.

The victims said one cyclist was moving while another was stopped at the side of the road.

They treated the 56-year-old man that was moving for a head injury and he was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

The cyclist that had been stopped, who is a 59-year-old man, suffered a shoulder and ankle injury and he was taken to hospital in stable condition.
