Wanted man Shilo Beals may have left Nova Scotia, police warn
Police now believe Beals has left Nova Scotia
Halifax Regional Police are renewing their calls for help in finding Shilo Marcino Beals, who is accused of murdering Kevin Bowser in 2004.
Two weeks ago, police issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Beals, 31. He faces a charge of first-degree murder and six weapons offences.
While police earlier believed Beals was in the Halifax area, they now believe he has left Nova Scotia and is elsewhere in Canada.
Beals, who is five feet ten inches tall and has black hair and brown eyes, is considered armed and dangerous. Police are warning people not to approach him.
Anyone with information should call the Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020 or Crime Stoppers.
Bowser was found badly hurt on July 10, 2004 after Halifax Regional Police were called to a shooting on Uniacke Street in Halifax. The 28-year-old man died shortly thereafter of a gunshot wound.
