Two males point fake guns out car window in Cole Harbour
Two males are facing Criminal Code weapon charges after pointing cap gun out of car window
RCMP have charged two males who are suspected to have pointed cap guns out of the window of a vehicle in Cole Harbour.
The suspected males had removed the red tips from the guns to make them look real.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m., RCMP received a call from the public that a passenger pointed a firearm out the window of a vehicle.
Police located the suspect vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop on the Forest Hills extension.
Traffic was delayed as officers ensured the safety of the public and police.
The arrested parties were transported to the Cole Harbour Detachment.
Two cap guns were seized.
Two males, 18 and 19 years old, are facing Criminal Code weapon charges and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court August 6.
The matter remains under investigation.
