Truro woman accused of stealing $455K from company

A woman in Truro is accused of stealing more than $450,000 from G & G Computers in Truro.

A Truro woman is accused of stealing about $455,000 from G & G Computers in Truro.

Truro police have charged 52-year-old Anna Mae Ellis of Shubenacadie. 

Police say they began investigating a complaint in April 2014 that a woman had defrauded G & G of a substantial amount of money.

Ellis was providing accounting services to G & G from 2007 until last year and police accuse her of writing fake cheques.

She is charged with fraud and forgery, and is due in court on May 28.
