A man from Truro, Nova Scotia is dead after a crash in eastern Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police say 51-year-old David Allan Maxwell was driving on Highway 401 near Shannonville, Ont., at around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday when his minivan ran into the back of an SUV. The SUV then plowed into a tractor trailer.
Police say Maxwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers in the mini-van suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
