Halifax Regional Police say a 16-year-old boy is in custody after a robbery at gas station on Quinpool Road Thursday night.

The incident happened around 10 p.m., when someone entered the Petro-Canada with a knife. The robber took cash and cigarettes before taking off on Oxford Street.

Police said the teen was arrested Friday. He’ll be charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and bail violations. He’s scheduled to appear in youth court Monday.
