A teenage girl was arrested after driving erratically in New Glasgow, N.S., early Sunday and faces multiple charges.

Police spotted the 16-year-old in a white vehicle at about 1:50 a.m. Police say she drove over a sidewalk and crossed the centre line of the road.

Police stopped the car. The teenage driver was arrested when police discovered the vehicle had been stolen from a New Glasgow home.

The girl will be charged with impaired driving, break and enter, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
