Dawn Street fire in Halifax deemed suspicious

Halifax Regional Fire investigators say a fire that broke out in an apartment complex in the 0-100 block of Dawn Street in Halifax is suspicious.

Halifax Regional Fire investigators say a fire that broke out in an apartment complex in the 0-100 block of Dawn Street in Halifax is suspicious. 

Police said they were called to the scene around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

Halifax Regional Police said no one was home at the time of the fire. 

The fire was contained to one unit in the building. 

The investigation is ongoing and will be completed by the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
