Const. Dianne Woodsworth says police got a call from a concerned citizen around 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday. (CBC)An elderly woman who fell off her electric scooter and into the Bedford Basin on Wednesday is back home.
Jeannie Hubley, 72, was outside getting some air on Convoy Quay on Wednesday when she got too close to the edge and fell over into the water.
Others on the wharf saw her and pulled her to safety.
Hubley was taken to hospital, but is back home now and doing well.
She said she still does not remember how she fell.
