Teen dead after fatal truck-pedestrian crash in Valley

Kings County RCMP are investigating a fatal truck-pedestrian collision that claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy a few kilometres south of Aylesford Wednesday evening.
RCMP Sgt. Alain LeBlanc said the teen and a 15-year-old girl were walking along Hall Road in Factorydale about 7 kilometres south of Aylesford.
LeBlanc said the 911 call came in at 7:55 p.m. that a pedestrian had been hit from behind by a pickup truck travelling westbound on Hall Road.
The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck and the 15-year-old girl were not hurt.
A traffic reconstructionist is involved in the investigation which is ongoing.
