Pictou County man dies in snowmobile crash

A 50-year-old man from Pictou County, N.S., is dead after a snowmobile crash near the remote community of Loganville, N.S.
The town is about 40 kilometres west of New Glasgow.
Police said the snowmobile overturned just before midnight on Friday.
Cpl. Andrew Joyce said the man was travelling alone, but someone was nearby.
"The collision was heard by an occupant of a cabin who the deceased had just previously visited. The occupant, once hearing the collision, drove his vehicle up to the scene and located the deceased at the scene," said Joyce.
He said police are investigating the crash and have not ruled out alcohol as a factor.
