Police investigate 2nd paramedic for drug theft

Police in Nova Scotia say they are investigating another paramedic for stealing and misusing drugs, CBC News has learned.
This time police are questioning a paramedic in Liverpool.
"We are working closely with EHS in relation to this file and right now it's early on in the investigation and I can't comment any further," said Cpl. Scott MacRae.
Emergency Health Services said it's co-operating in the investigation.
Last week a 25-year-old paramedic from Halifax was charged with stealing drugs from the EHS.
EHS has since fired Zachary Dewar and the province has suspended his paramedic's licence.
Police allege Dewar tampered with vials of controlled narcotics including morphine and Valium.
