Man, 86, dies while walking near home during storm

Police say an 86-year-old man has died after he was found unconscious at the side of a road in rural Nova Scotia on Monday.
Officers said they responded to a call at 6:49 a.m. about a man who was discovered at the side of Oakhill Drive in Middle Musquodoboit.
RCMP Cpl. Scott MacRae said the man, who has not been named, died en route to hospital.
He said the man lives in the area and had an underlying medical condition.
The man was found during a snowstorm but MacRae says it isn't known if the weather played a role in his death.
MacRae said the death is not suspicious.
