A 41-year-old Nova Scotia man has been charged with hitting a pedestrian with a snowplow in a crosswalk.

The man from Truro Heights was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian, driving with a revoked licence and having no insurance.

Police said a 20-year-old woman was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Tuesday after she was hit by a truck near the Dalhousie Agriculture Campus in Bible Hill.

The victim was treated in hospital and released.
