A man who was kicked in the head several times in a fight early Friday morning in Halifax will face charges once he's given a medical all clear.
Police said they were called to a fight on Spring Garden Road at 2 a.m.
Witnesses told investigators a 22-year-old man had been kicked in the head several times.
Police searched the area and soon arrested a 20-year-old who was not far away.
He's due in court Jan. 7, charged with assault causing bodily harm.
But officers say the victim also faces charges. The Enfield man is charged with violating conditions of his probation.
He'll be taken to court after his medical evaluation.
