Police ID victims in double fatal Valley crash

RCMP have released the names of the two 72-year-old men killed in a two-vehicle collision in Annapolis County on Saturday afternoon.
Paul Longmire was driving one of the vehicles and Maurice Longmire was his passenger. Both men were from Parkers Cove in Annapolis County.
RCMP responded to the crash site at Youngs Cove at around 1:40 p.m. after a Chevrolet Silverado truck collided with the Volkswagen car the Longmires were driving on Shore Road West.
The male driver of the truck was transported to Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton with minor injuries.
RCMP had to reroute traffic on Young Mountain Road and Parker Mountain Road.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
