Two people were rushed to the hospital after a crash on Highway 331 in LaHave. (Google Maps)Two people were rushed to the hospital after a crash in Lunenburg County involving a Department of National Defence truck.
At approximately 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, RCMP got a call about a Department of National Defence truck and trailer that had crashed and overturned on Highway 331 in LaHave.
The male passenger was airlifted to a Halifax hospital with serious injuries, while the 31-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck and trailer were transporting a front-end loader.
A part of Highway 331 was closed until just after 5 a.m. Thursday. Heavy machinery was brought in to move the truck and the front-end loader.
