Halifax Regional Police are investigating after a car in Bayers Lake was shot at on Wednesday night.
At around 10 p.m., a witness heard four or five gun shots in the 100 block of Chain Lake Drive and saw a Buick Rendezvous leaving the area, said police.
The Buick Rendezvous was later found parked at a residence with several bullet holes in the trunk.
A driver and passenger — both men — who were inside the car at the time were not hurt.
They said they were at the corner of Susie Lake Crescent and Chain Lake Drive when a small, beige car pulled behind them and shot at their vehicle. Halifax Regional Police said they believe the beige car might be a Honda.
Police don't believe this was a random incident.
