Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a bank robbery on Spring Garden Road on Wednesday morning.
A man entered the TD Canada Trust branch at 5495 Spring Garden Rd., threatened the staff and demanded cash, said police.
He got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
No one was hurt.
Dozens of officers surrounded the bank at the corner of Spring Garden Road and Birmingham Street and used a canine team to hunt the suspect down, to no avail.
A dye pack was later found under a truck on nearby Doyle Street.
The man is described as white and five feet five inches tall with a medium build. He is approximately 50 years old and was wearing a dark puffy jacket and dark winter tuque at the time.
