Nova Scotia RCMP said they have found an 83-year-old man who was last seen Friday around 12 p.m.

Harold Rigby Singer became stuck on a washed-out road that had suffered storm damage. He was located around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Police located the man's truck and footprints. That led officers to the tired but uninjured man.

He was treated by emergency personnel and reunited with his family

He experienced car trouble and was missing for about 14 hours, said police.

Family members became concerned when Singer didn't return home.

Singer was last seen driving away from a gas station in Upper Kennetcook, a small community about 35 kilometres southwest of Truro. He was heading toward Noel, N.S. on Highway 354.
