A passing motorist found the body of a 20-year-old man Wednesday morning in Digby County. He's believed to have died in a motorcycle crash overnight, say police.
RCMP in Meteghan, N.S. said they received a call at 6 a.m. about a body lying close to the road in Saint Martin.
RCMP Sgt. Jeff Holmes said the 20-year-old motorcycle driver appeared to have left the road, and hit a tree.
He died at the scene.
His name is being withheld until RCMP have notified the family.
Holmes said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and police are awaiting toxicology results to see if alcohol was a factor.
