Cole Harbour Place workers accept offer

Employees of Cole Harbour Place voted Friday to accept management's latest contract offer.
The contract ensures employees will receive an additional $1.45 per hour over four years. Full-time employees will also receive a lump sum of $350, and part-time employees will receive a pro-rated incentive.
Under the agreement, the majority of workers will go from the current $10.37 per hour to $11.82 per hour by April 1, 2014.
The 25 custodial, security and maintenance workers with the Nova Scotia Union of Public and Private Employees have been on strike since May.
The final contract is under review and the employees are expected to head back to work on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
