A private jet was diverted to Halifax Monday night after a passenger died on board, say police.
RCMP Cpl. Scott MacRae said the plane was headed to Houston, Texas when a man travelling from the United Arab Emirates suffered what appears to be a heart attack.
Paramedics and police were standing by when the plane landed at Halifax Stanfield International Airport around 1 a.m, but the 64-year-old man was already dead when the plane landed.
The man was headed to Houston for medical treatment.
Police said there was no sign of foul play and the file is now in the hands of the medical examiner's office.
