Two homes are in flames in Dartmouth.

One home is "fully-engulfed," the fire department confirmed.

The roofs of homes on either side of the two burning houses are being hosed down, according to the CBC's Mark Crosby.

Police are redirecting traffic in the area.

The fire, on Lindenwood Terrace, was reported just after 3 p.m.

Power was originally shut off to 1,600 Nova Scotia Power customers, and natural gas has been shut off in the area, Dave Meldrum, spokesman for Halifax Regional Fire confirmed.

That number is now 115 customers.

There are no injuries, and the cause of the fire isn't yet known.

More to come.
