A woman is upset but unharmed after driving her car into one of the shallow ponds of Wentworth Park in central Sydney this afternoon.
The woman was turning off George Street onto Byng Avenue when her flip-flop sandal apparently got caught on the gas pedal.
Police and rescue personnel were called to the scene after multiple 911 calls from witnesses.
A tow truck was sent to the scene to pull the car out of the water.
