Halifax Regional Police have arrested a second man, considered armed and dangerous, who had been on the run for more than a week.
Officers searched a residence in the 1,200 block of Church Street in Halifax on Sunday and arrested Terrance Alexander Priest.
Halifax Regional Police had been looking for the 27-year-old man since he failed to return to a halfway house the previous weekend.
Parole warrants were issued for Priest and Nicholas Roland Rhyno, 25, more than a week ago after police said they failed to return to their halfway houses.
Rhyno turned himself into Halifax Regional Police the day the alleged parole violations were announced.
