Tangier family loses home in fire

A fire has gutted the home of a family of seven in Tangier, on Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore.
The Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service says no one was hurt in Thursday night's fire, but two cats died.
An investigation is underway. However, an official says it appears the fire may have started in the kitchen area.
Highway 7 was shut down for several hours as crews battled the blaze.
