Another snowstorm, another day to scrape the snow and ice off your car.
If you don't, Halifax police warn, you could get a ticket.
Sgt. Mike Spearns, with the traffic division, said he stopped at least 10 vehicles in the Halifax area on Wednesday, including one car covered in ice and snow.
"He can't see. If he strikes a pedestrian, there is no defence," Spearns told CBC News.
"Common sense would tell you that if you can't see, why would you be driving? I'm a little bit lost for words why anyone would do that."
The Motor Vehicle Act calls for drivers to remove all snow and ice from their windows. Violators face a $164 fine.
Some roads remain icy after Tuesday's mix of snow and freezing rain. Many sidewalks are treacherous and some schools around Nova Scotia were closed Wednesday.
