Someone set a cat on fire in Lower Sackville, N.S., RCMP say.
RCMP said a man was awakened early Monday by a bright flash on his front lawn. He realized something was on fire, and when he went outside, he saw that it was a cat.
The man smothered the fire and called RCMP and municipal animal control. The cat didn't survive.
Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
