Missing: One 45-kilogram concrete statue of Jesus.
Colchester County RCMP are asking for the public's help to find the missing statue, stolen from a cemetery in Middle Stewiacke, just outside Truro.
A family noticed the nearly three-foot tall statue missing on Aug. 2, said Cpl. Sharon Sossin, of the Bible Hill RCMP.
The family didn't report the theft until Aug. 7, after trying unsuccessfully to track the statue down themselves.
"It was a statue that they placed on the gravesite of a loved one and it does mean a lot to them. So, of course, they would like to get it back," Sossin said Friday.
Anyone with information that would help locate the statue is can call Crime Stoppers or the Bible Hill RCMP detachment.
