A 50-year-old man from New Brunswick was sent to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a half-ton plow truck at the Cobequid Pass toll booth in Nova Scotia on Sunday night, according to police.
Colchester RCMP said they were called to the scene around 7:30 p.m.
They said the 23-year-old driver of the truck was salting the road around the booth when he struck the man, who was walking nearby.
He was taken to the hospital in Truro with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The plow truck driver was not injured. The police have not decided if he'll be charged.
