Woman accused of pointing gun has her arm broken during struggle
Two members of Nova Scotia's Serious Incident Response Team were called to Cape Breton to investigate an arrest that left a woman with a broken arm.
Ingonish RCMP were called to a home in Meat Cove Sunday morning.
They arrested a 57-year-old woman, who's accused of pointing a firearm.
During the arrest there was a struggle, and the woman's arm was broken.
She's since been taken to hospital and treated.
The Serious Incident Response Team investigates all serious incidents involving the police in the province, regardless of whether there is an allegation of wrongdoing.
