Halifax Regional Police are on Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth after someone fired shots at a house around 6:30 Friday morning.

Neighbours say they heard between three to five shots. Three bullet holes punctured the glass in one of the windows.

Most people who heard the incident wouldn’t speak to the CBC reporter at the scene. They said they feared retaliation.

Police believe the shooter sped away in a car. Black tire marks are on the pavement outside the house where the car peeled away.

Metro Transit is rerouting some buses because a section of the street is closed.

Police said no one was injured.
