Police continued their search Saturday for the remains of Reita Jordan.
The 34-year-old from Tantallon was last seen almost three months ago by friends and has not been seen or heard from since.
Paul Trevor Calnen, 50, of Hammonds Plains, was arrested earlier this week and charged with second-degree murder and indecently interfering with human remains "by burning," according to court documents.
Jordan is presumed dead but her body has not been found.
RCMP Sgt. Al Leblanc described where police searched Saturday morning.
"Divers were at Ten Mile Lake, which is off of the Pleasant Valley Road in Musquodoboit, earlier today. It’s a road that is 16 kilometres from the start of the Pleasant Valley Road to where it’s at and basically we had the divers there and also four-wheelers but nothing was recovered," he said.
RCMP finished searching Calnen's property on Rising Sun Trail in Hammonds Plains on Wednesday.
Neighbours and friends have told CBC News that Jordan and Calnen lived together and were romantically involved, although Jordan's friends said the relationship was coming to an end.
