School bus with students aboard shears utility pole
No one seriously injured in Fall River
No one was injured when a school bus carrying 17 high school students ran into a utility pole in Fall River Monday morning.
RCMP Cpl. Scott MacRae said the police were called about the crash at 9:24 a.m. on Lockview Road.
"Police are advising motorists to expect delays until further notice so Nova Scotia Power can clean up the mess from the pole and of course the damaged school bus is removed as well," he said.
"The good news out of this is there were no serious injuries but certainly a scary incident for the students this morning on Lockview Road."
Nova Scotia Power arrived at the scene a short time after the crash to replace the broken pole and repair dangling wires.
