A man robbed a sex shop in Truro, N.S., Monday night — but he only took cash.

Truro Police Chief David MacNeil said they got a call at 9:33 p.m. about a robbery-in-progress at Pleasures N’ Treasures.

MacNeil said the thief “took just the treasure,” and left the "pleasures" behind.

Officers quickly arrived at the store on Mill Street, but the thief had already fled out the back door.

Officers got a description of the man from the shaken clerk.

“The canine unit responded and was able to get a track established and recovered some evidence,” MacNeil said.

A man was arrested two blocks away. Nobody was hurt and police wouldn’t say if a weapon was used.

The 37-year-old Truro man who police arrested is due in court to answer several charges over the robbery.
