Potential Halifax homicide witnesses come forward
Three women have come forward to talk to police about an incident that resulted in the death of 26-year-old Kaylin Todd Diggs Saturday morning.
The women's images were released by Halifax police in surveillance photos.
Diggs was found lying on the ground in the area of Sackville and Argyle streets at about 3:49 a.m. He died soon after in hospital.
The three women shown in the pictures were believed to have been in the immediate vicinity of the assault that led to Diggs's death, according to Const. Brian Palmeter.
Palmeter stressed they are not suspects or people of interest, but simply witnesses.
Police believe there were several people in the area when the incident occurred.
Palmeter says police are not ruling out the possibility of releasing more photos as their investigation continues.
