Police recover body in First Chain Lake

Halifax police have found the body of a man who went missing near First Chain Lake.

Man had been missing since Tuesday

Halifax police believe they have found the body of a man who went missing near First Chain Lake.

A man's body was recovered from the lake Wednesday afternoon. Police said foul play is not suspected.

The 46 year old was reported missing around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers said the man may have entered the woods near First Chain Lake. The area is surrounded by the Highway 103 and Highway 102 crossing, North West Arm Drive and St. Margaret’s Bay Road.
