Halifax Regional Police say a man was severely beaten in a Dartmouth apartment building Wednesday night.

Police were called around 9:40 p.m. When they arrived, the victim was found in the hallway.
A K-9 unit was brought in, but police have yet to find the suspect. They say they don’t know the motive yet, but it’s not a random incident.
The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II hospital. Police said his injuries are serious, but not life threatening.
Police say the man they're looking for is a dark complected white male, 5’10”-6’. He has dark hair and was wearing a red toque and blue jacket.
