The RCMP are investigating two separate crashes in Nova Scotia that have each claimed a life.

A 68-year-old died Thursday night after his all-terrain vehicle overturned in Pictou County at about 8:30 p.m.

Police said the man’s ATV flipped on a gravel road, coming to rest on a driveway.

His name has not been released.

Officers are also investigating a car pedestrian collision that killed a 37-year-old man from Middleton around 2:45 a.m. on Friday.

Police said the man was walking along Highway 201 in Meadowvale when he was struck by a van.

His name has not been released either.
