Stabbing at Nova Scotia Community College campus in Dartmouth leads to arrest

Halifax Regional Police say a man was stabbed by someone he knew shortly before noon in Dartmouth.

A man is in police custody following a stabbing at the Nova Scotia Community College's Akerley campus in Dartmouth.

Halifax Regional Police say they were called to the school shortly before noon after two men got into an altercation.

Police say the men know each other. Police weren't able to say how old they are or if they were students at the school.

The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

Police say they arrested a man. He has yet to be charged. 

Officers are still investigating.
