Pictou County men identified as victims of fatal Sunday crash

RCMP in Pictou County, Nova Scotia have released the names of two men killed Sunday morning when their vehicle went off Central Caribou Road and hit a parked trailer.

The victims of the crash were identified as 25-year-old Noah Franklyn Russell of Pictou and 25-year-old Cameron Keith MacDonald of Waterside. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman was in the backseat. She was taken to Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow with non-life-threatening injuries.

Road conditions were good at the time.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
