Police won’t be charging anybody in the case of a 91-year-old woman who died last month after an altercation at a Clayton Park unit for people with dementia and Alzheimer's.
On Oct. 5, there was an altercation between Joyce Renouf and a 74-year-old woman at Evan Hall, located at 156 Parkland Drive. The unit is run by Parkland Clayton Park.
Renouf fell down and was seriously injured. She was taken to hospital, but died the next day.
On Wednesday police said they have finished their investigation. After consulting with the public prosecution service, they have decided not to lay charges.
