Two men and two women have been appointed judges to the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.They include:
- Robin Gogan of The Breton Law Group in Sydney, who has been a lawyer for 18 years
- Elizabeth Van den Eynden, a lawyer at MacIntosh, MacDonnell and MacDonald in New Glasgow who has worked for 25 years
- Joshua M. Arnold, a partner at Arnold McKiggan Hutchinson, who has worked for 23 years
- James Chipman, a partner at Stewart McKelvey in Halifax, who has been a lawyer for 20 years
The appointments take effect immediately.
The Nova Scotia Court of Appeal also has a new addition. Justice Ted Scanlan has been elevated from the Province's Supreme Court in Truro.
